Not for the faint of heart

Good read, but it's a dark romance. These are not nice guys, the FMC and her brother have had a rough dark past. While some is alluded to, some is right there on the page. They have their vengeance also right on the page. These guys are mafia and act accordingly. However, the story is well thought out and executed. The FMCs are all in on their girl. The character s are well developed, consistent and unique. -Tabitha

Beautiful Story

Great start!

I stumbled upon this book through a recommendation and I'm so happy I did! The story pulled me in right away and I had had the time, I probably would have read it in one sitting. Great characters and chemistry between them, fast paced, some action, some (a lot) of smut and just an all over great standalone.

Sin's story was even better than I thought it would be

Stop what you're doing. Go grab a copy of this book and start reading. You'll thank me later. This book had everything I love! Omegaverse, stepbrother, mafia, MM, 2 omegas 2 alphas, heats, knotting this book had it all!!!

Gabby was meant to inherit a criminal empire, but when she presented as an omega, her father turned over the reins to Levi, her stepbrother. He's kept her close and under his protection. Alongside his packmate and second in command, Elijah, they've ensured her safety. Gabby carries a torch for both of them, but neither have ever given her the time of day. When a contract brings in another omega into their lives, Gabby realizes she should start trying to live her life because it's looking like she'll be the odd one out. Sin is a De Luca and a male omega who was tortured after the deaths of his parents. When Levi comes to him to honor the contract, their fathers worked out, and he agrees to be closer to Gabby and for help finding his family fortune.

Personally, I liked this part of the duet more than the 1st one. A.J Moran, you should definitely keep writing omegaverse because I feel like you're just getting better at it. Gabby was my absolute favorite type of fmc. She's not a wilting wallflower she's more than capable of taking care of herself. The angst between Levi and Gabby was so well written. Sin and Gabby together 🥵. Elijah, from the very second he was introduced, I was gone for. I absolutely loved the epilogue. Seriously though, please keep writing omegaverse. -Ally Y. T.

Build a better mafia family

I love this book! It is action packed with a pack of hard living alphas and omegas. Gabriella is an omega mafia princess with a “step-brother” and his bff that she has loved for a really long time. Unfortunately, this love is not reciprocated. Levi is trying to protect Gabriella from kidnapping attempts and threats from other mafia families. Levi brings in another omega to assist in protecting Gabby. That omega is male and his name is Sin. Gabby thinks she is being replaced and it all hits the fan. This is a hot story that will have you cheering for Gabby and wanting to knock the guys in the head. There are a couple of triggers so beware. If you like omegaverse books, this book is for you. -Susan

Great dark Omegaverse

Gabbi is such a a dark little breath of fresh air, I really enjoyed her. Sin is so broken mentally from being broken physically, that you just want to hug all his pieces back together. Together they are trouble for Elijah and Levi, sweet, sexy, dark, Carmel apple pie scented trouble. I couldn't get enough. Great read. This is a stand-alone but it's part of a duet, if you haven't read the Darkness Within grab it too. It's just as good
